PAIN: 'Cynic Paradise' E-Card Available
October 15, 2008An e-card for "Cynic Paradise", the new album from Swedish metallers PAIN, can be found at this location.
"Cynic Paradise" will be released on October 31 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to "Psalms of Extinction" (which was released in 2007 via Roadrunner) features "eleven gems offering a vast variety of styles and influences which are even new for PAIN," according to a press release. Anette Olzon makes a guest appearance on two tracks — "Follow Me" and "Feed Us". The artwork (see below) was created by renowned artist Travis Smith (AMORPHIS, OPETH, NEVERMORE).

Finland's HardcoreSounds.Net conducted an interview with PAIN frontman Peter Tägtgren (see video below) prior to the Swedish band's October 9, 2008 concert at Tavastia in Helsinki, Finland. Also available is video footage of the Tavastia performance, including a rendition of the group's new track "Follow Me" featuring a guest appearance by NIGHTWISH singer Anette Olzon.
